Sorry to break the chain here, but, I get whatcha mean. And I can relate to the characters' origins parts.
Long story short, my case of OC origins also involve multifandom, and, well, it took me a while to get outta my comfort zone around here and find a good enough balance to co-exist with those origins, and at least learn somethin from it.
And, well, it's alright, it's good that you got this off your chest, and if you ask me, you just gotta give yourself some time. I mean, it took me many months to come to terms with them. Not that I hate them, but, it was more of what people thought.
